Did you know that more people die by suicide in Africa
than anywhere else in the world?
We Believe Tomorrow Is Worth Fighting For!
2 QUESTIONS:
1. Do you know of anyone who committed or has attempted suicide?
2. Have you attempted suicide before?
Our Founder has, but her attempts were unsuccessful. They were loud cries for help in a world that seemed dark, hopeless and without any options.
But not every attempt is unsuccessful…
So We Are Stepping Up!
In Africa, 11 per 100 000 people die by suicide, according to the World Health Organisation – Higher than the global average of 9 per 100 000 people. The African continent has the highest number of suicide cases IN THE WORLD! And one of the most affected groups is children and young people aged between 10 and 19. Imagine experiencing some of your most volatile years at a time when tech and socio-economic shifts move at a rapid pace and systems are not exactly designed to protect you or your psychological safety.
NOW – STOP IMAGINING.
Because for the 160 million young people on the world’s youngest continent – this is the reality! A reality that is not designed to teach, support or advance their mental wellbeing or help circumvent them taking their own lives.
Here Is How We Make Impact!
No Child Should Ever Believe The World Would Be Better off Without Them In It!
